BlackBerry DTEK60 is now available in Canada

BlackBerry announced that the BlackBerry DTEK60 is on sale in Canada, starting today for $650.00 CAD. To order yours, visit and a DTEK60 Soft Shell and Rapid Charger will be added for free.

The DTEK60 is a 5.5″ device with a QHD display. The device is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. It has 4GB RAM, 32GB internal space, and you can expand that space with a microSD card. A 3000 mAh battery should get through the day, even under heavy use.

The camera on the back is a 21MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture, accompanied by a 8MP camera up front.

Security is of course, a big part of BlackBerry. A fingerprint scanner is on the back for a quick on and unlock, but also works alongside with BlackBerry’s Password Keeper app (among other apps that make use of the scanner).

You’ll also get BlackBerry’s app suite, including BlackBerry Keyboard, BlackBerry HUB, Password Keeper, and of course, DTEK by BlackBerry.
